vin ID and best parts house

hello fellow enthusiests, on my vin tag under model type ov stands for cab and chassis i guess this means it was built without a bed right? and where is the best place to get parts i have a 68 gmc 3/4 fleetside that i have been working on for a year one more question do i have to change thje doors to get rid of the wing windows? thanx new member kevin
