Re: help posting pictures

Just guessing. Might be your antivirus software.

Is the message being generated on the website side or a Win 10 generated message? Win 10 would indicate something on your PC.

Re: help posting pictures

this is just me.......

take a picture with phone....."home button to the right"
plug phone into computer
upload pictures from phone to a "said" file

get on the forum.....

scroll down to "additional options", there should be an "attach file" box and "manage attachments"

from there, scroll through your pictures where you saved your pictures...

double click the pic....

when i do it it shows "up load"

click that.....

give it a little bit.....(again, my computer)

then your pics should be on your post.....

click "preview post" before you "submit" to check what you posted.....

......(if i only clicked "preview post" before i "replied all" to my whole department......hahahahahah.....makes for some interesting conversations on A shift..... hahahahah)

you guys have more common sense than the majority of the guys i work with so I'm not too worried....

What type of file does you camera save the pics to.
JPEG? PNG?

Re: help posting pictures

TRY and upload only one picture at a time

Sometimes I can do 2 at a time
But
I can never load 3 or more at a time
Without getting the same message you are getting

That message generally means that your pictures are too big. Try sizing them down so that the width is about 1100 pixels wide.

hi guys, I have to thank you all for helping me. lock doc nailed it. the pictures were to big. and me learning the difference from win 7 and win 10. then learning how to resize them. I'm sure a lot of you this comes pretty easy. not me, I could rebuild an engine quicker. lol. the truck is pretty original I'm the second owner since 1980. I still have the suffix code tax 350 on a pallet. I put on 72 disc brakes. I,ll post some other stuff about it later. thanks again for the help, BROWN 70
