Need a door window channel for my 48.

I just found that I am missing the rear window channel on the drivers door. The one that screws in over the top of the latch. They are different side to side. If you look at the bottom of the channel in my photo you can see it leans to the right, that is for the right door, I need the one that leans to the left.

Re: Need a door window channel for my 48.

My truck project is about four years old now, and some of the parts that I squirreled away when I first got the truck are proving difficult to find.

Just spent $80 for some window channel that I already have somewhere, but can't find. After a while I just break down and buy the part I need because I can't afford to spend any more time looking for it!

If you don't have any luck on the board, you might try Mothertrucker in Tucson, or Paul's pickup parts for some used ones.

Good luck,

Phil

Thanks guys, if I have to get a repro you have giving me some places, thanks.

I did just order the special screws and nuts for the lower corner of those window frames.

Re: Need a door window channel for my 48.

I've got a number of 47/50 doors that I accumulated and most every one is missing that piece. I think most of the innards of those doors got nabbed to turn later doors in to on piece window doors when NSRA had the 48 and earlier cut off date as far as year model for entries.

Re: Need a door window channel for my 48.

Thank you guys so much, in looking at them it's a toss up so to pick one I googled both of where you live and Crossfire is closer so I will bother him with it.
