got my wide tires and rims for the back of the truck today. i'll try to get pics of them tomorrow. the front wheels were really trashed so i didn't get them.

well got the steering mocked up today. the column i am using is a 68 chevy so your app may vary. the shaft and u joint that is connected to the column is a 2wd mail jeep shaft. the next little piece is a saturn shaft that goes to the coulmn in the car. the tha shaft that is connected to the box is a modifyed s10. had to shorten it alot. the piece of heater hose is holding the dd shaft to the round jeep shaft unitll i get it welded together,but i figured everyone would like to see how it looks so here it is. got the fat tires mounted on the truck to see how they look and i like them, now to find some front ones.

well i was messing around with paint to see what my truck would look like and here are a couple of ideas the pic of the truck isn't mine it's littleb pic. i couldn't find a good pic of mine to mess with the were all too dark and i couldn't make out the body lines. littleb i hope you don't mind.

Just my opinion but I like the last two tone. White body with the different color upper cab and fenders. Not too sure if I like the color though but it has potential.

i love the color it's Regal Turquoise like on JML55 55 belair. i want to go with a traditonal color and paint layout. i like the second and the last one because they are era correct. i may only be 26 but i have always loved the old cars/truck and their colors. they look alot better than the new crap. every car/truck looks almost the same these days. their is not much diversity like back then.

well not much done i got the turn signal indicators in the dash. also got one running board mounted and the parts preped for the other just ran out of time to get the brackets welder in place. the place i have my truck at i can't run my generator after 6 pm cause the people nearby get pissed off.

well got the other running board mounted. the carb is just setting in place it needs a rebuild but it was free can't go wrong for free. the distributor was also a ferbie too. the bumper is just setting in place for now. i don't like how far the bumper sit away from the grill. i looks like a fire truck bumper. i am going to tuck the bumper closer to the body and make a custom front valance to replace the old on between the bumper and the grill. to give it a cleaner look.

pugs i got your pm i'll have to wait till i get back to work to get those off you but yes i do want them. my passanger side one is rotted really bad in the center. i got the front bumper mounted tody and the battery tray mounted fo thr frame rail. took pics too cause everyone loves pics. so here they are. i also put the stock valve covers back on since my holley intake dosn't have a dickey tube. i'm not going to put holes in a good vintage pair of chevy chrome script valve covers

Thanks for posting pic's of your bumper mount. I havn't mounted mine yet, And really had no clue as how to mount it. What is the stip off of (where the bumper mounts to)? If I had it to do over I would have cut the front horns farther out. I cut it as per Clarks instructions right in front of the sterring. Your truck is coming along very nice man. Thanks again for posting your pic's.

lookin good, so you didn't cut your framehorns off in front of the stearing box. that's good to know.

no i just cut the stock s10 bumper brackets off flush wiyh the frame horns.
