Rear cab paint divider trim.

I order a set of the rear paint divider trim from lmc truck. When I received the parts I noticed that they were stamped out of thin aluminum which dented very easily. I was looking thru the brothers catalog and noticed the same trim but wondered why they charged double the price. I ordered a set and brothers are stainless steel instead of aluminum and after peeling the brothers part number sticker of I found a mar-k sticker with their part number. So the paint divider from brothers is from mar-k.

The factory trim was stainless. I'm betting nickels to doughnut holes that the only way you will find that trim in stainless is if you get it from a board member, or dog-rob it off a truck at the recycle yard.

Re: Rear cab paint divider trim.

Here is mar-k description
Stainless moulding that fits along the back of the cab on the driver side. It is made of type 430 stainless steel and is brightly polished. This moulding is usually found on two-tone painted trucks where the two colors meet but it may be used on any paint or bed style. Includes six nylon attachment clips. Other pieces sold separately. Small screw-in studs are available to use on trucks without the original welded studs for attachment and are sold separately. Made in Oklahoma City, USA.

Re: Rear cab paint divider trim.

I have one set from MAR-K and another set from Brothers. Both sets are stainless. Not high quality stainless as a magnet will stick to them but definitely not aluminum...
