Fitting a stainless steel hood center strip on a 48 GMC truck hood.

How can I shape a stainless steel hoop center strip to fit on a 48 GMC truck hood? I'm concerned that I might bend the center strip.

Thanks

Hey Brother, I think you'll get a more intelligent answer on the 47-59 board.
Either that or you need to re-colign your flux capacitor. This is the 67-72 board.
Maybe the mods will move this thread.
