where to get weld wheels!!??

ok so this may be a long shot, but im wanting to get a set of weld wheels for my truck, 16.5x14.... at this point i dont care what style they are! scorpios, typhoons or stone crushers would be top picks though. i know they are about impossible to find anymore and im kicking myself in the ass for letting go of the sets ive had in the past lol.

does anyone know of any place that still has a stock of welds, ive called a few places around the country and most places dont have a complete set of 4 just odd numbered sets. any info would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks!

Re: where to get weld wheels!!??

Sorry, I know Weld went out of business. I think the best place to find them would be to do a craigslist search of the nation for a big set of mud tires with wheels. I wound up finding a set of Weld's for my 96' by finding a set of 44's with the wheels for a cheap price. Ran the tires for a couple of months and found 49"s and sold the 44's. Trevor

Re: where to get weld wheels!!??

All I know is they weren't what they claimed to be.I had an Outback (8 x 16) come apart in the center at the weld. They claimed they were the only wheels for 44s and all I was running were 285/75s.I've never had a wheel fail in all my years of 4wds until that expensive piece of junk.I vowed not to buy from them any more after that.

Re: where to get weld wheels!!??

I have a very nice set of aluminum 16.5, 8 lug wheels mounted with Dick Cepek 14.5 Radial F-C tires with about 700 miles on them but do not know if the wheels are Weld or not. If you are interested I can send you some pics.
