BIG BLOCK in a 1970 K-5 Blazer

HELLO ALL !!

Building a 1970 K-5 with a 427 BIG BLOCK and a TH700R4 transmission. Looking for parts, advice and threads on applications for similiar builds.

ORIGIONALLY: K-5 350 / TH350 / NP 205 transfer case

I have the 427, and will be going with aluminum heads, Headman headers, dual exhaust, and other modern engine upgrades. Hoping for 550 hp on pump gas.

Planning on using Moster's reworked TH700R4 "SS" rated at 600hp.
I know that I need to trim the shafts on the trans and the (NP205) Transfer case so that they will marry up to the AA coupler. This should ensure that I dont have to move the transfer case (very much), and keep all the drivetrain in the origional location.

I have asked Monster if they can install the correct shaft in their trans for the NP205 and have not got an answer yet. I also asked if they can trim the shaft so that it is done in a machine shop, and I can bolt in once it arrives. I will post on here as this has sparked some interests in other circles ......

QUESTIONS:

ENGINE MOUNTS: Will the current cross member work with the big block?

TRANS MOUNTS: Will the 700R4 bolt to the same TH350 mount? Will it bolt up in the same location?

TRANS:
Will the speedo cable from the 350 work with the 700R4?
Does anyone know the color codes for the speedo cable gears?

Planning on running 31s to get this pony out of the corrale, then jumping up to 33s with a 4" lift.

LOOKING FOR VENDORS THAT CARRY:

Hidden Class III receiver hitch
Phantom grill kits for 71 & 72 Chevy trucks
clear lenses (front, rear & side markers)
roll pans
Behind the reflector gas fill / access door kit

THANK YOU !!!!
