SM326 trans swap, '65 GMC

Howdy all,

My '65 Jimmy has that wonderful SM318 transmission. But I have a truck SM326 trans in the wings.

That trans has the shift arms but no linkage rods. I know the '66 came with the SM326 but will the ones from the '67-'72 trucks work just the same?

Feel free to clue me in to any other pitfalls. For example, by memory both transmissions are the same length but I don't know if the input/output shafts have the same broach dimensions.

TIA for any help.

Thanks,

chris
