Auxiliary heater questions

Does anyone have some information for installing the aux heater under the second row of a suburban? It looks like the heat blows directly into the raised floor, and what good is that. The picture in the service manuel is of little use. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Any way to post a pic of the drawing you are referring to?

I could see bouncing the air off the partition allowing the air to be distributed around the whole under seat area better than if it just blew out in one area.

I need to figure out something for that in mine as well. I am thinking under center console supply to diffuser vents at the back of the console like our Bonneville has.

Re: Auxiliary heater questions

When I get home on Sunday I'll post the picture. It's in the 1972 service manual.

Re: Auxiliary heater questions

My 68 gmc burb has one, if I recall there is a panel under the seat to help deflect some heat. It had recently quit working so Ill have to look into that. I can try to take some pics of it.
