Brake peddle feeling different

1988 GMC C2500 5.7 ...I realized, after turning down my stereo, my brake peddle makes an air/ hissing sound.

Man-o-man.... It's been a long time, but I could swear I had that problem before. Any thoughts of a cause, before I take it to my mechanic?

Sometimes I loose a little of brake power....

( maybe it's time to up-grade my master cylinder while I'm at it ?)

Re: Brake peddle feeling different

Its your brake booster. You're loosing vaccum when you hit the pedal. New booster = problem solved.
