Re: anyone ever seen this?
Looks like a 2000 OBS, but anyone else feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. If I recall correctly, they continued the OBS longer on the C2500-C3500 longer than the C1500.
If it's the case, I think you'd want to stick with parts from late 90's GMT400 platform. But what I usually do is inspect the part, find the part number, then go to a parts site like GMPartsGiant or GMPartsDirect and plug the number in, go to that part's page, then look at the compatible vehicles list. This isn't *always* 100% correct, but the only time I can recall it failed me during many dozens of JY runs with a door buzzer module of all things. With "normal" mechanical wear-and-tear parts, it's always hit a homerun.

Re: anyone ever seen this?
I own a 2000 GMT400 2500 Work Truck 6.5L with NV4500.
I have the 94-02 CK parts books but they're on Fiche so I don't have em scanned. Barring having the parts books go to the GM sites Shifty mentioned. If you have a buddy at a salvage operation with access to the Hollander interchange books they're another resource. Just get a whole column. The only gotcha is the higher optioned rigs have SRS airbags. Yours looks like it's not the WT model so get one that matches what you have. Snag the lock cylinder from the doors to match the key in the new column.

Re: anyone ever seen this?
Any column from 95+ should fit. Swap over your electrical parts/lock cylinder.
The airbag was determined by GVW. 1500 trucks and all suvs had airbags. 2500 and bigger trucks did not. |
