Arrow Rear A/C Problem W/ 2002 Chevy Tahoe

My 2002 Tahoe rear A/C was working just fine on Friday. On Saturday afternoon when I got into my truck and turned it on the rear A/c would not work. I checked all the fuses for the rear A/C and even the relays. Everything seems OK but the rear A/c does won't to blow any air.

I would like to know if there is any other relays located in another location in this vehicle.

I am about useless when it comes to AC. Hopefully one of our techers will chime in for you.

Re: Rear A/C Problem W/ 2002 Chevy Tahoe

I looked into a Chilton manuel today. It basically said the front A/C setup can be checked in a conventional way with a test light to see if electricity is passing to the blower motor. The rear A/C it says to take it to a service dealer because it use electronic sensors which could be burned if tested.. Has anybody had trouble with there rear A/C on aq 2000 to 2005 Tahoes,,,,,,,,,,,, any advice greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!! THANK You.......

Re: Rear A/C Problem W/ 2002 Chevy Tahoe

Is there an override on the front A/C panel that prevents the usage of the rear? For some reason I was thinking there was a button on the dash of the previous body style Tahoes that prevented the rear A/C from being used.

Re: Rear A/C Problem W/ 2002 Chevy Tahoe

No, there is not an override button. The rear A/C worked one day then the next day just stopped working. The front A/c works and is blowing cold air. The rear A/C does not blow anything at all. I think its the blower motor for the rear A/c located under the passemger side rear trim cover in the cargo area of the truck I'm going to attempt to check it this afternoon. Thanks

Don't forget to check the control head for the rear also. I have had to replace the control head on my truck 3 times.
