Wiw 68 swb?

My neighbor might sell his '68 C10 SWB to me. I can't find any rust through in the cab corners, or roof line or inner/outer rockers. He had sanded the surface rust off and primed the whole truck years ago, and it has sat in his shed since.

It is a v8 with a Powerglide, and the body color looks like it was a gold shade. he told me it came with the PG from the factory? Tags/inspection are current, and he drives it every couple months. Everything is there, dash uncut. Complete truck, and really a straight truck IMO.

Any ideas?

Re: Wiw 68 swb?

I'd say 2500-3500 but check out the rockers/corners with a magnet to see if there is a bunch of bondo in there...I've seen that before....

Also look under the cab at the cab corners and you'll be able to see if the inners were done when the outers were and if not, you might run into rust issues there. Also the door hinge area, cowl area, and lower part of the doors.
