Not sure how I missed this one.... I Think I saw it for sale down that way though. Great find! I might have a piece of upper trim for you... Next time I'm at my dad's down that way I'll look, it's yours if it's the correct side, can't remember if it's driver or passenger.

ha it happens I guess! But yeah, I've seen his truck and it is super nice. A similar set-up without the slick paint job. I love the patina on this truck.

Thanks for providing him some company. I'm hoping next week I'll be able to get the wheels swapped and bring him back home. Got to get down to Number98's and grab some wheels. Really sorry to hear about your sis-n-law. Hope all turns out well.

Thank you! That would be awesome. I'll be glad to pay you for it and shipping. I haven't even started to look for a piece yet but if you have one, I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

No need to ship it, my 72 and parts are at my dad's in Snellville and a good car buddy lives in Marietta and works at KSU... I can get it to you easy. It's not perfect but it's not creased, I'll pm you when I get to it and hopefully it'll fit the bill.

That truck is so sweet! Love the green. I'm picking up my white OEM 16" steelies tomorrow. I'm pretty pumped.

Re: "Big Al" '70 Long Fleet

Finally got the OEM 16x6(?) factory upgrade 6-lug steelies from Number98 and some 69-72 dog dish caps from flashed put on last night. I'm really digging them with the white top. Really changed the look of this truck big time. A lil drop and I'll be in business for a bit. I snapped a few pics before I left out on a work trip this morning.

Re: "Big Al" '70 Long Fleet

I like it! I'm following along now. Does the plan include holding onto this one for a while? I can't keep up with all these new purchases.

Haha! Yeah, it does include holding on to this one and the '73. It's taken me a while to figure out what I wanted to achieve and what I actually like and will want to drive. I spent a little while trying to build something outside of my means (both skill-wise and financially) but I think I'm getting to a good place and realizing what I'd like to do. Thanks for hangin' in there (even though it can be confusing)

Re: "Big Al" '70 Long Fleet

You guys are a bad (or maybe good ) influence on me. Now I want this one and it is only 15 miles from me. Am trying to be strong and telling myself no.

Apologies for the diversion. Now, back to Big Al....

That is a beauty! No diversion here. What's the story on it? Love that color.

Sellers FIL had owned for many years, original paint, only rust is a hole in the bed by tail gate, no AC, all maintenance & tune work done by Chevy dealer. I haven't inspected myself 'cause it will follow me home if I do. Trying to stay focused....
