Has anyone put a 55-57 chevy truck cab on a 69-72 chevy truck frame?

Put a 55 chevy truck cab on a 69-72 chevy truck frame should be a easy project? Let me know,i may start looking for a 55-57 chevy truck have a 70 chevy truck frame to work with.

Yes, I helped a buddy of mine do it. The only thing is that you have to build really tall body mounts or you have to raise your bed floor. It can be done though.

i have a 58' that is on a 70' 3/4 frame that i purchased that way. seems to fit fine. kaycee the front crossmember is really to wide in my opinion but other folks will tell you it will work. making body mounts is really easy.

My is a 70 1-ton 4x4 drive--Thinking real hard about going with a 55-57 chevy 1.5 or a 2-ton cab and front end with a long stepside bed.

Yeah I was thinking it was to wide,674x4 I will have a 56 3800 long step in the near future I'm just waiting on the weather.I'm gonna rob the doorsof the 56 and get a fleetside bed for my 58 then I'll put my extras on the 56 and sell,has allmost rust free cab and clip.
