Re: 1986 GMC Sierra Classic LWB build

Super nice. Can I get a few good pics of the billet grille head on?

Also, I use ddmtuning for my newer cars, but didnt know they sold sealed beam HID applications for these old trucks?

Never saw your post man, sorry. Yeah I'll take some pics of the grille. And ddmtuning doesn't have sealed beam HID's, I bought some H4 housings to put em in.

Re: 1986 GMC Sierra Classic LWB build

Put some new stainless (according to guy at parts house) mirrors on tonight. The fitment of them sucks, but at least I don't have rusty mirrors. Wish I woulda never got rid of the stock mirrors.

Will try to remember to take a picture of the grille straight on. And now I'm thinking of trying to keep the gauges stock looking and snatch up a camaro tach, rewire my sending units, and hard wire the cluster and get rid of the printed circuit.

Missed a nice camaro cluster with 115mph speedometer on ebay for $26 today. Looking at other, more expensive ones, gonna try to hit up a junkyard soon.

Re: 1986 GMC Sierra Classic LWB build

Lol projector pictures are getting uploaded now.

Here's what I did tonight, not so thrilled about it.

Wrapped the s10 blazer overhead console in suede, was pleased with how it came out, then i pulled the headliner out of the truck, and i realized how poorly this thing fits against the headliner, and it's a little long. Wish I would've done some test fitting before I covered it.

and here's my camaro tach someone was asking about in another thread
