Re: Sectioned 65 lwb

So after I buttoned up a bunch of stuff [ leaky collector ,loose trans cross member , and a bunch of other stuff that was hand tight ] I went and drove the truck around , besides the steering column truck drives super nice !! So nice in fact I need to finish it off for sure I'm going to order up a new column for it and make this a driver for sure ! I'm thinking about doing a hollywood job on it [Faketina and logo's] and flakeing the roof still have my dummy floor figured out for the bed !!

Re: Sectioned 65 lwb

Lol you need daily inspirations....
How about having someone go half with you on this truck? I can use some parts. You going to the Stockton swap meet next month or what Rene likes to call it the meet and greet... lol

So I finally pulled the grill and painted behind it and ditched the stainless grill !! Put it back in finally today ! Still have a ways to go before the flake gets done ! I also order a new steering column for the truck the bushings are shot and the way it was set up to work with the rack and pinion steering was sketchy !

I hope those welding clamps on the visor are going to be removed eventually? I'm just kidding around now. What breed of visor is that, what did it come off of? Thanx Elnutty...Vernski

The visor started off as a 49-53 chevy car visor ! I added 8 1/2" to the middle and trimmed a lot off of it ! And yes the clamps will be coming off soon I'm reworking the area that goes in the rain gutter !
