Hello 99-06 board.I'm back with a 2003 silverado

Hello everyone on the 99-06 board.I started out on the 60-66 board and am new to this board so I wanted to give a friendly Hello to everyone and to show a few pictures of my current ride that I purchased last fall.

This one is a 03 with 96k.a pretty plain jane ride with a 4.3 and auto.I have taken a few 1000 mile round trips getting 19-21 with it at 75-80 mph so I can handle the V6 for the mileage.I purchased this one from a Friend that was in our car club who passed away a year ago and for the most part is a nice and clean ride.It came with standard steel wheels which have snows on them and he had picked up these GMC wheels which do the trick for summer.

This should be a interesting and fun board and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Kent.

Thank you Carl. This one is a little older than I was looking for but it was so clean.

Very nice truck! Is that dark green? I'd like to find a 99-06 RCSB one of these days, it is hard to find a nice clean one around here in the rust belt. Awesome purchase!

Thank you.Yes it is the metallic green. In the shade it looks very dark and if you catch it in bright light the color of course looks great and Illinois rust is always bad.

This is only the 2nd winter for this one being out in the snow since it wasn't used in the winter with the original owners "so they told me" and my Friend had it out only one winter out of the 4 that he owned it and though I didn't like getting it out in the salt it you have to do what you have to do.

Thanks for your comments.

Re: Hello 99-06 board.I'm back with a 2003 silverado

Thank you Cobalt. I have been happy with this one.

it just turned 103000 so time to change the tranny filter tomorrow.

Getting under these on ramps 30 years ago wasn't so bad but it takes a little more to climb out from under them now days

I need to post a thread of standard cab short boxes asking for pictures with the topper off to see what they look like since google is limited for that order.

Thanks again,

Kent.
