Any of you guys ever use lizard skin?

I talked to the guys at lizard skin today and they have totally sold me on their product. I just want some pointers on applying this stuff, do's and don'ts? I will be using the two products for heat and sound controll on my suburban.

Re: Any of you guys ever use lizard skin?

Buy some cheap latex paint and add micro balloons.

Works as well as lizard skin and much much cheaper. Run by your local Lowe's or Home Depot and ask for a gallon of paint that was color-mixed wron. Usually a couple cans sitting close to the paint mixing station and they will sell them for pennies on the dollar.

At one time Eastwood sold the guns to shoot this. You do NOT want to brush or roll it on, for full benefit it needs to be sprayed.

WEAR A RESPIRATOR!!!

I used UPOL Rapter polyurethane bed liner, 4qts comes with a spray gun.$110 (I got the tinted kind for wheel wells) I plan on using it inside on the floor. then fat man sound deadener on top. Lizard skin is water based.
