Re: whole lot of nice trucks

That's pretty absurd, but I like it.

Re: whole lot of nice trucks

I would injure myself trying to get in or out. But it's a nice looking truck, I just wouldn't take a corner to fast. Oil changes would be easy.

Re: whole lot of nice trucks

Anyone ever notice the shorter the guy the taller the truck . All states have a 24" bumper height law anything higher is just a lawsuit waiting to happen .

Re: whole lot of nice trucks

I was over that way wed., Thursday and yesterday and the truck is sitting in the same exact spot. DOT guys were all over the place so i imagine he is saving for one good ride or the boardwalk parade they normally have. There was a Ford jacked up like that a couple years ago and they gave him an escort to the state line instead of making him get it towed. It is a nice looking truck but i want something I can hop in and go.

It looks like a 67 small window cab but is trimmed out with 69+ moldings

Re: whole lot of nice trucks

Our bumper height law is 37" in Maryland. That's a '72 K-model with 37" tires and 7" of lift. Actually, that put my Blazer at 36 1/4". The week they started the bumper height law I'd be sitting eating lunch, a cop would pull up, open his trunk, pull out a yard stick, start walking over and I'd say, "36 1/4" with a smile. We never did see trucks running around here that hi. Down there at Cruisin' Ocean City you will see track cars on the street, things that you'd never see anywhere else on the street. Out this way I mostly see trailers heading down. Either people coming from far away, flat-out 5 mpg ground pounders, or just sissies.
