Short Fleetside bed w/metal floor?

I have ben looking in to buying a complete bed kit with steel floor for my 1969 k/10. Need all-wires, lights and all related parts. Question, any one out there done this lately and what to avoid or where not to buy. Also any complete original rebuilt tail light assemblies available? Thanks for any info and Happy Trails---PB

Thumbs up Re: Short Fleetside bed w/metal floor?

I just installed a new bed on my 67 short bed this summer.Bought it from gmc pauls drop shipped to my drive way.very quick shipping and good price.I think it was $2800.00 including shipping,It fit pretty good to my surprise.Just look and make sure the sides line up with the cab I had one side that was sticking out a little at the bottom had to do a little trimming and hole elongating.Jeff

Chances are Southern Kentucky Classics sells the same bed and they may be cheaper and closer to you so shipping may be less . Or even Summit Racing .

So Ky Classics is the vending side of Woodall Industries, the producer of these bedsides last I knew. Separate businesses but same owner. Same as Truck Shop/Counterpart. One sells the other develops/produces. Maybe someone else got into making them and I have not heard, but that's how it's been. They are quality parts that fit quite well
