Nv4500 question

I am working on 6bt nv4500 swap into a 63. I was wondering if anyone knew what I would need to make the electronic speedo drive mechanical so I can us the factory speedo.

pretty sure dakota digital has some conversion boxes to change an electronic signal to cable driven.

No I don't have a build thread started yet. Haven't had much time until now. Dakota gauges is a good site. I think I found what I need from there. Thanks for the help

If your NV4500 has an electric VSS sensor in it, remove it. Get a mechanical speedo drive assembly from a 727 trans and it should fit in there. PATC is them used and new with different tooth count to adjust for taller tires and different gear ratios.

I do not believe so. The mechanical drive should go right in there. I can't say for sure as I haven't personally done it on a NV4500. But it has worked for a couple guys I know. They had a dodge trans too, not a chevy one. If they are different in this area, IDK for sure.

It's a dodge trans. I took the whole drivetrain out go 98

I wish I had found this before I bought the Dakota cable drive, it was way more then I wanted to spend.
