Question Power Brakes Conversion

Does anyone know which years of GM trucks or cars are compatible with 71 1/2ton brake system? Want to upgrade from manual to power brakes with parts off a doner truck or car. Running a 305/700R4 combination with a quadrajet carb.

Up to 1980 chevy truck should work , don't know about car interchangeability.

I tried a booster off of a 74 on my 70 and the shifter hit it keeping it from going into park. I guess if you have a floor shift it may work. Six holes in the 74 bracket but four of them line up with the cab holes. Thats as far as I got. Once I realized the shifter hit I bit the bullet and bought one from the parts store.

Hard to beat the price of a booster master cyl. combo from a parts store with a life time garantee. 71-72 fits - but if you find a donor im pretty sure you can use a 67-72 if you take the master cyl. also.

Nothing beats stepping on the brake and it stops. New brakes are really the way to go

Nope. Disc/drum is not the same as drum/drum set ups.
The only 100% bolt on that i know of, would be the 71 and 72.
