Paint divider trim

I'm adding paint divider trim on the back of the cab. Do you think I could use something other than drill holes and screws? I don't want the trim to stick out too far from the body and look funny.

What "paint divider trim" are you planning on using?
The original stainless trim?
After market?
What year and model is your truck?

You probably could use 3M trim tape like the way people are attacking the side trim on the 64/66 fleet sides buy cutting stripes off plexiglas and attaching it to the inside of the trim then attach the trim to the truck with the trim tape.
