Flat Towing w/65 c10..150..3 tree..3.73

Current 250 (crap rochester) putting 32/36 progressive and an HEI on it..also 72 fan, thermal clutch, radiator and alternator

Will also have air ride with SS8(2800) slam specialties replacing stock rear springs

I will have roughly of motorcycle(600lbs) and other stuff 3-500lbs) in the back
Flat tow baring a 1974 VW Thing (rghly 2-2100lbs)
With additional things (?>750 lbs)

Will the small upgrades make up for towing?
Or spring for a 350 (like I was going to do b4 the trip came about)


I've towed the same car and the like on a dolly which is like 600 additional lbs to given car weight
Wasn't hard but rather have more power so MPG doesn't get killed too bad

Will be going from below sea level to colorado, the peak and off into Utah and such
