Deadend Garage 67-72 Suspension parts! Take a look.

For all you members not on Instagram, your missing out on these cool 67-72 parts.
They got my attention a while back when they developed a 4x4 to 2wd blazer conversion kit.
All parts look amazing!

They also sell truck parts including:
Bolt in c-notches with built in bag mounts.
Panhard bars
Trailing arm crossmember exhaust cut-outs
Front shock relocators
A very cool rear shock relocator set-up
And a compressor/tank mount for bagged trucks.
Custom exhaust hangers
Check them out on Instagram at:
@deadendgarage
Or email them at deadendgarage@yahoo.com

I have no connection with this company,... I just think they make COOL stuff for our trucks!
Here’s a few pics starting with their 4x4 blazer frame converted to 2wd being built by @k_5wampthing on Instagram.

Re: Deadend Garage 67-72 Suspension parts! Take a look.

Looks like they have some cool parts. I'm not an Instagram person so I miss this kind of stuff. But 67-72chevytrucks has a huge membership base right up their ally. Seems like they are missing out by not advertising their stuff here directly.

So I checked out their page. Looks like there is no way to contact them except by direct message. I actually have an interest in the 4x4 to 2wheel conversion. Would like to see if it would work for my burb. I don't really want to do a flip in the rear, would love trailing arm. I have another burb 2wheel chassis I can use but would rather not.

Edit:Good grief, I just noticed you posted an email ... Ill give that a shot, thanks!

Edit 2 :Sent an email request off, lets see what happens.

I actually contacted Deadend Garage about posting their product on here.
I also inquired about a website.
They responded very quick to my email.
I think they are super busy building product.
Hopefully they will join us here.
You can also contact Travis at ProPerfofmance, who is a board vendor.

I started out just looking around on Instagram.
But now I find you see a lot of parts way before they make it anywhere else.
Plus you can also see and talk to the guys that make these parts or the guys that install them.
Instagram has a Direct Message system that works much like our PM system.

Got an email back from them this morning. Same stuff you posted, but nothing about an actual conversion kit for 4 to 2 wheel trailing arm. I would love to see this kit and see if it could be made to work on longbeds and burbs

Thanks for the link. Now I can see the 4 to 2 wheel isnít actually a kit. Itís just a few peripheral items after a person has sourced and installed the main items from a trailing arm truck.

Yes, it is designed to work with a stock trailing arm crossmember and trailing arms, as to keep it an affordable swap. Allows guys to source these parts and use them. We can pair with aftermarket trailing arms and TA crossmember, just would add to the cost.

Re: Deadend Garage 67-72 Suspension parts! Take a look.

Most guys doing a 4x4 blazer conversion to 2wd have sourced a front crossmember to swap in.
In a perfect world, you need a 63-72 trailing arm frame to get all the other parts.
Trans crossmember, trailing arm crossmember, trailing arms and rear axle.

With the availability of after market parts, you can use a 73-87 crossmember or aftermarket crossmember, along with aftermarket trans and trailing arm crossmember, aftermarket trailing arms, and even axle saddles to convert leaf spring rearends

Re: Deadend Garage 67-72 Suspension parts! Take a look.

I had another board member (Livrat) that has done a ton of converted blazers take a look at the set up. He liked it, told me about the things it offers that I missed, or just plain misunderstood.

I have three 2 wheel drive long bed chassis Im not using. So between the kit and the parts I have there would be no problem.

Re: Deadend Garage 67-72 Suspension parts! Take a look.

I stole these pics from member gringoloco's blazer build thread:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=756268
These are Deadend Garage's 4x4-to-2wd blazer conversion parts, to add trailing arms to a 4x4 frame.
(coil spring or bags)
