big show in alberta

I know I've posted this before but the Superrun show is on the August long weekend in Red Deer Alberta. This would be a good chance for a bunch of us to get together check out each others rides. My blazer will be done and there. This is a three day show stating with a big cruise and drive-in on friday. If anyone is interested or is going let me know.

I'll see if I'm off for it, but my truck will be a long ways from finished. Unless I win the lotto.

I'm not towing mine all the way up there! heheh

Thanks for the heads up! There's supposed to be a pretty good swap meet in Red Deer on March 1. I'm going to try and make it for sure.

I'm gonna try and get a printable copy of the entry form and post a link to it soon. This was a killer show last time 1000+ rods customs and trucks. First year for my blazer I'm going to the radium show this fall too.

I've heard the Three Hills show is a great one and I keep meaning to get to it every year and every year it slips by and about a week later I realize it. It's kinda like Valentine's Day come to think of it.....

I was around Radium a couple of years ago when that fall show was on. Holy Crap! I was travelling back here on the last day and it was something to be cruising along with classic Camaros and a 32 Ford. I keep promising myself that I'm going to have a classic car or truck to take to there and I keep not fulfilling that....but this year...yeah....

Sorry, subverting the thread here.

Is anyone willing to collect some e-mail addresses and be the official "Alberta show alert"? People who want to let all those who might be interested could just contact use them as a contact then.

Just a thought.

Greg

Anyone going to the Red Deer swap meet on March 1st?

Greg

(now I'm REALLY subverting the thread but this question didn't seem worth starting a new one)
