Value of Parting a 72 CST 4x4

Thinking of picking up this 1972 CST Blazer for parts. I want the original front seats and console for my project and maybe a few other odds and ends.

Have any of you had any luck parting out beyond repair trucks? The top looks in decent shape and the 350 supposedly ran when parked. Includes a plow, but the whole truck looks pretty much rotted out. If I could get $500-700 for the remainder of the truck after stripping the interior, it might be worth my while to rent a trailer and haul the thing home.

Pics to follow.

Two more Pics. Offered $500 for just seats and console but they want the whole truck gone. No title.

The top might be a single wall. That would be worth around 1k if it’s in good shape in my area.

lots of little pieces are like gold... Door alignment shims, reinforcement plates, other misc door parts... fuel tank skid plates and filler parts as well as the neck on the tank if the tank is bad... top and hatch as mentioned above... tow hooks... front locking hubs if original... back seat and level mats if you aren't planning on keeping them... Visors... all those interior trim and hold down pieces... Steering column(especially if its tilt)... trans hump... shifters... much less drive train if its any good... the list goes on...
All depends on how much it is i guess...

You def made out like a bandit, you will have NO problem making your money back, you take what you need and sell the rest as a whole if you don't want to mess with it.

$500 for a hatch!? Holy smokes! I still haven't located a trailer big enough for the blazer and plow together yet. It's almost 1.5 hours away so I can't just run over and make a deal and get more pics.

First off he has to be a Premium member to sell parts on here and you have to be a Premium member to post a "want to buy" if this turns into a for sale thread it will be closed.... Click on the word "Subscribe" in the menu bar above for the subscription options.

Thanks,
