where to get ford 8.8 u bolts?

I need a set of U bolts for a ford explorer rear end swap, they are 3 1/4 wide instead of the common 3 inch bolts. Jeggs has them for $29 per bolt but I am sure they are availible for less than that. for those who did this swap where did you get yours?

We have ours made here in Houston at a company called Pruits. They make them while you wait. Any size. Most rear end bolts are $20.00 for four with nuts. You may not have a place where you live but their is probably some company close. $29.00 is too high. There are companys that you can imput your dimensions online and they will make them also. Less then that.

You can check NAPA but usually there is a spring shop in most cities if any size that works on truck and rv springs that can make up the U bolts you need if they don't have them in stock. You might also check the 4x4 parts shops as they usually have good supplies of U bolts in stock.

Junk yard. I pick up the drive shafts and U bolts when I get my axles. I've used a set of u bolts that are too narrow in a lowering block kit, you just have to man up and squeeze em together to get it back into the holes on the plate

Mine came from the junkyard when i pulled my 8.8. They seem to be in good condition. I dont think I'll end up using them due to I plan on building a 4 link so if you want them you can have them for the shipping cost.
