Hey Jeff, that model I built with parts from 5 different truck models. The cab and bed was from an AMT 72 chevy, the frame was made from 3 AMT 55 chevy trucks and the wheels,engine,t-case and axels are from an AMT 83 GMC...

Nice to see so many other model builders out there. I was starting to think that the dicast and pre painted stuff was killing the plastic kit market...

Re: Post your truck model pics here.

Thanks. I usually just build as a hobby. It took me alot of years and many many kits to get to where I'm at.Half the time I think something I build looks like crap when everybody else loves it. I guess it's like they say "You're your own worst critic"...

Re: Post your truck model pics here.

I want to build a`72 4wd promo to add to my authentic promo collection. So,it has to look stock. The easy part is,once I match original paint, all I have to do is paint everything one color,.That used to burn my butt when I built models as a kid when other kids didn`t even paint anything,WTF?I guess it still gets me goin`!ARGG!!!

I have a good 60 or so kits still in the boxes. I am pretty sure that I don't have even one Chevy truck.

Re: Post your truck model pics here.

I just got mine from this guy on ebay, expensive, yes, but I couldn't find one in a store anywhere. Don't know where the rims came from, I'd like to know too This guy is a good seller, 100% feedback, got my truck within a week, and it was very well packaged.
