I think you would get more replies in the '67-'72 truck forum. I will move it over there.

Re: 1968 fleetside short bed floor

Never used an aftermarket bed floor. I do know that bed parts are on a waiting list at Southern Ky Classics. If you have a good bed floor from a long bed, cut it down until you can do better. I'm cutting a bed down now and just getting the finish work done. I'm in at 12 hours total, counting dis-assembly. Part of it is that I am keeping the patina as intact as possible. If you are rhino-lining or painting, then you can cut some time off, I think. If you find some floors in stock, you better act fast, sheet metal prices are rising.

Re: 1968 fleetside short bed floor

Short beds floors are at $900 if you can find one.
Classic Parts has them in stock.
About $540 for the bedsides. None in stock at Classic Part but other have them.
So the floor is the most expensive part of the bed.
I like flat floors and they are exceeding difficult to find as most have hauled too much firewood for me.
If you have a local reseller I would use them. The floor is a trucking only item and expensive to ship.
