Styrofoam Weatherstrip Inside Door Panels

Anyone figure out an alternative method/source for this?

Re: Styrofoam Weatherstrip Inside Door Panels

I would think peel-n-stick EPDM foam weatherstripping would work well:

Davidf,

Thx. Have you tried it or are you guessing?

Just guessing. However, I would do it....seems about the right size and EPDM compresses well, and should provide a better seal than factory material.

Re: Styrofoam Weatherstrip Inside Door Panels

LMC sells #30-2380 "seal-door panel" on page 21 (http://lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=21) of their catalog. I have no idea how close it is to the original. I used this (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-Kin...C21H/100067266) stuff only because it seems to be the same material as the original and won't absorb moisture. However, it's round and does not have adhesive. If I recall correctly I applied it with weatherstrip adhesive.
