Glove box spring location

Does anyone have any pics or ideas of where the spring to the glovebox goes to a 65 gmc truck. I have an assembly manual but can’t find any answers there. Any help or pics would be appreciated - thanks, Angie

Thanks RocknRod, I did not consider that.

Here is what is going on in my 1961 GMC. Is your 65 GMC different?

No springs that I can see: a hinge and two curved angled levers that guide and hold it open, and hold it in place.

Re: Glove box spring location

Found some information on this spring

Here is a photo of one from an eBay ad

This YouTube is for a 66 Ford truck, but it does give some insight on installation. I will have to go back and look at what's behind my glovebox liner.

The Ford truck uses two; left and right hand-side, not sure on the GMC.
