I want to put electric dual fans on the radiator instead of the mechanical engine fan.

I have the Desert Cooler 4 row radiator. its 16-1/8inch high 28-3/8inch wide and 2-5/8 diameter. I talked to a guy at jegs and he said as long as the fan measurments match the core of the radiator then it will fit

Anybody have any advice

Any ideas where to get a good fan setup that will fit. I have about 3.75inches of clearance between the radiator and the water pump pulley.

any ideas, anybody ever go through this?

p.s. its a 67 c10

Whatever size fans you decide to use, I think it would work best with a shroud. Otherwise you only pull air through where the fans rest against the rad.

http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html...-electric.html This is the one that I am looking at it has 4600 cfm. When you look at fans make sure you look at the amps they draw you may need to upgrade your alternator

I used Wizard Cooling. They are local to me and fabricate radiators for our trucks. They are a specialty company and do excellent work. They built the radiator and shroud, and installed dual SPAL fans. I had to make some minor modifications to my radiator mounts, but no problem. I would highly recommend them.

If ya don't mind my asking, bout how many green backs that set up run from them? Cause that's a good looking setup. also will they make them for the 60-66 trucks?

I worked a cash deal for $750 complete, with Scott, who is the owner of Wizard Cooling. They are local to me and only about 40 mins away. I know they build all kinds of radiators.
