Grill help

Trying to figure out a good way to clean up this grill and get some of the dents and scratches out. Most of the anodizing has worn off, but there is still some in hard to reach areas. I have taken advice and used Mothers polish, as well as testing some 1000 grit sandpaper in a small area, but I am just not happy with the results. I figure it would probably be a no-no to paint it... Maybe I just need to live with it the way it is? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Check out "Grumpy Old Man" post, I recall he did one on polishing up windshield window trim... So polishing up a grill should be nearly the same. It'll buff up bright and shine, just takes the right stuff and some time.

This is for Stainless trim, so may need to swap to a milder "aluminum" polishing compound.

Re: Grill help

Post 7 in this thread shows the best polished grill I have seen.

Good luck, Rg

Re: Grill help

So, with a little polish and some paint, here's what I came up with. Overall I am pretty happy with it!
