E-brake cable guides

I posted a WTB for these on the Parts board but I'm also thinking I could take a piece of rod stock and bend a couple up, since they are pretty simple parts. I just need to know how long they are. It looks like they are about 4" long - I can't remember as it's been a while since I saw them (took them out while doing my engine swap and lost them) - anyone know?

Re: E-brake cable guides

After installing new ebrake cables, they stretched a bit and the slack caused one of my guides to fall out of the frame hole and get lost along the road somewhere.

I put these together with stuff from Ace Hardware. I didn't want to buy stainless allthread, so I bought a couple of stainless machine screws and cut the head off.

Re: E-brake cable guides

jonmc56, that is some impressive hardware store engineering there!

I did not have the time and patience to find all those pieces so I bought a piece of steel stock for $2 and used the hot wrench to bend it into the right shape. Quick spray bomb black and my parking brake is functional again.
