Not bad for 1400

I say that because its in really good shape. Its a 1983 blazer with a 6.2L diesel NOT A CUCV

800 for the Blazer with non running engine
300 for used engine
30 for new glow plug relay
270 for fluids and other misc items

Not only does it look good for the year but there is very little that i need to do to it to make it a daily driver

My daughter is pestering me for a K5 since I've got my project going. Wish I could find a deal like that - nice score!

The real score is that the tires have less than 100 miles on them from the day the guy bought them .

The springs and everything look stock. It is a diesel model so it sits a little higher to start with.

Why do you say that? Not arguing or anything but I wasn't aware of the diesels being any different in that regard.

Maybe after I get some money saved up. I would really like to get a good set of bumpers made and some more aggresive tires. Then have the 6.2 rebuilt and have a turbo put on at the same time./

They have a heavier spring pack on them.

Re: Not bad for 1400

Alright so I am at a hold with the Blazer trying to figure out what I should do. I put a used 6.2 in it and have it running again. However the wiring is all F_____ so it is always draining the batteries. The engine and transmission fight each other. ( engine has to run extreme RPM'S in order to shift) so I am thinking of pulling the engine and putting in a built 350, buying a painless wiring harness and putting in, rhino lining the entire inside (except for dash) and then put heavier axles under it. I am wanting to get a differnt transfer case if possible. should I put the money into this or should I sell and get something else.

Re: Not bad for 1400

Sorry things are not working out.. If you got into the blazer at a $$ then yes keep it and keep working on it. But if you think it just going to be a money pit, you may want to move on. Good luck..
