Do you guys know if the front clip from a 55 Panel truck fit on a 59 GMC 1/2 ton stepside? Will I need to get the rad support, fenders, hood ...............anything else?

It'll fit but the length on these model varies 1- 1 1/2 inches. I have a '57 GMC p.u. that I put '56 Chevy front fenders, then decided to use a different set of fenders from a another '56 Chevy and discovered that the front mounting pads at the radiator support was 1-1/2" longer. Was not a problem, just had to jury rig a little. BTW the grill bolt holes will also vary by different year on the Chevy. So try to use like year...i.e. '55 fenders and grill. The hoods will interchange but the the insigna holes will differ. Good luck with your swap.

Thanks bud!!! I am asking because I am looking at a 59 that has a rough front fender and grill on it. There is a 55 panel in the local yard with a really nice front clip that I would use as a donor

That panel would be the way to go. Panels are far and few between. Just my thoughts.

If it isn't, it'll never fit on the '59.

My point exactly. Also, I agree with Seon, the panel would be a show stopper!

The panel is to far gone to save. The only good thing on the thing is the front clip

58 & 59 fenders are slightly longer that the 55, 56, 57. About 4 inches.
Too Bad on the Panel!!
