I see your point now.. THis truck still needs a cowl hole fixed as well but the floors and pretty solid..

It was $125 for them to install my windshield and gasket (if they break it then it's on you though), For $225 I got a new windshield with my gasket (if they break it then it their fault) and for $318 that would supply a seal and window installed... I ordered it under my insurance company for a discount but paid for it myself instead of a damage claim. Made the windshield cheaper that way I think.. They only offered green with blue band on top, maybe they could have ordered clear...

Re: Project "flip that truck or else!"

roof came out great Mike....you guys made that look easy. I scrapped a cab before because the roof was shot just like that one.

I used Safelite for my windshield too...glad I did. I think mine cost $190 and install was free. He broke the first one right at the end...came back 2 days later with another and had it done less than an hour. Can't beat it...guy said he'd come back and put my back glass in for a few beers some evening too.

Re: Project "flip that truck or else!"

back glass was easy... took about 10 minutes and some string...

thanks for the roof comments, It could have been even easier if we had a large table to shoot the laser from.. a few "known points" and we might not have had to adjust many of the cuts...

Trucks gone and mama's happy!

I installed the review mirror yesterday and another speedometer cable.. New owner was driving it 2.5 hours home in the rain with no radio and glasspacks!

Godspeed!

seemed to be happy, I also fixed up that little hole behind the dash bezel... Some primer, silicone, sheetmetal and zip screws did the trick.. No water on the floor this morning from the rain getting in. His wife was going to drive it home to state college... hope it went well..

when is my area getting FIOS? I just switched to COMCAST since the verizon DSL sucked, no offense.. atleast you got overtime right?

Re: Project "flip that truck or else!"

I have an eye appt on Wed afternoon in Carlise (oops, guess i'll be in town already!) Then I plan on Thursday or Friday whichever has the best weather... Special-K (Tim) has a site in the NW 50-51 area but I don't have enough to sell right now...

Whoo-hooo, she made it!

What needs to be edited? And, how? We're all grounded from editing.

I got exactly the same rims and tires. How did you get all the rust off?
