9.50 X 16 mud and snow skinny tire, do they make em?

I can find em in 16.5 but not 16's. I really like these...

Check out links below. Some of the guys on the Power Wagon forum use them. Not as tall, but I have 235 85 16 on my '72 Blazer and they look pretty good. Much cheaper and readily available compared to the 9 x16.

7.50/16 is all i have seen. Deesstone has a 7.50/16 that is 32.2" tall and is tubeless.

How much room do you have in the wheel wells.? I run a 255-85r/16 radial. They are almost 33'' tall and about 8'' wide, they are awesome in the snow.

I figured i'd catch it

1969 ( anything made in 69 is cool in my opinion, what a pivotal year) F 250 4X4 360 manual, basically a one owner truck with 79,000 original miles, surface rust, no rot.

LOL that's a fact. Sounds like a mid life crisis. Read somewhere that GM was punching out some COPO Camaros. 572 cubes in one of those just makes me giddy. take the $$$ out of my 401k and well you get the idea

Re: 9.50 X 16 mud and snow skinny tire, do they make em?

I have these 9.0-16 tires, they are biased ply and I don't really like them. They don't ride good and get flat spots after a couple days of sitting.

Check out the Goodyear Dura tracks. I bought 4 for my suburban I plow with. I absolutely love them the suburban goes anywhere in the snow now

Nothing has the look of the old bias-ply traction tires, but they are getting pretty rare and bias-plies left a lot to be desired when it comes to living with them.
If you want tall & skinny with a period-correct look, how about 255/85-16 Coopers on a 16x7" wheel?

Re: 9.50 X 16 mud and snow skinny tire, do they make em?

It's deceiving, but a 9.00-16 is a whole heap of a lot more tire than a 9.50-16.5. Seems funny with the numbers being all bigger, but that 9.50s is a tiny tire compared to a 9.00-16. No comparison what so ever. Ifyou want a 16 close in size to a 9.50-16.5 I think you need about a 245/75 or 265/75-16. I didn't look up the numbers, but 16.5 tires were short and wide profile. Basically, they were the truck equivalent to a wide oval.

Ordered some Samson 9:00X16 mud and snow tires, not cheap ($205 ea plus $135 shipping) but they are what I was looking for. They should be in Monday, I'll post pics...

Cool! I went with 750 16's on my 52. They were a lucky C/L find. But they will wear out.

Perfect. If it looked any better it would have to be a Chevy or GMC
