Custom Fuel Tank Help

Hey Guys Just Got a Few Questions About My Fuel Tank.

I Made My Own Aluminum One. Truck Is a 69 c10 Fleetside
Wood Floor. Goin Custom Route..

First Question Is Should I Mount The Top Of The Tank Flush With The Frame Rails Or Can I Go Up an Inch Or Two?

I Dont Have The Cross Sills Yet..

2nd Question Is How Long Overall is The Filler Portion Rubber Hose Roughly?

Not Really Sure How To Finish It In The Bed. Just Want The Filler Neck Centered And Below The Wood Floor. Thanks

Re: Custom Fuel Tank Help

I think you could come up a little in between the cross sills. But, they sit right on top of the frame rails when they're installed. So you'll have to be flush with the frame rails under the cross sills or modify them accordingly which I think would be less than ideal.
