Re: Reconditioned gauge Clusters F/S

Hi Tom -

Lots of pages to read through so figured I would be lazy and just ask...

I am in the process of buying a 68 and looking for a new cluster with tach. Not too interested in the vacuum guage unless the money makes sense. How much for one? Also not a big deal on the choke hole.

THank you!

Hi Paul,

Re: Reconditioned gauge Clusters F/S

Bringing it to the top.

Here is a photo of one I am restoring for a customer. It is going to have a volt gauge conversion and factory vac gauge installed.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am taking on work so let me know what you need.

Also please ask any questions you have about my services.

Thank you,
Tom

What do you have in stock for sale? I have a 69 cluster, but its missing 3 guages and not sure that it would be a good core.

I am always looking for nice cores. I am specifically interested in gauges with very nice faces.

Please post photos and your prices for what you have.

Thank you,
Tom

Here is what I can offer:

A completely restored cluster using a new aftermarket bezel (black/chrome) and new #168 bulbs or LED's for illumination. Speedometer is checked for needle bounce, noise and accuracy and calibrated as needed. Odometer is set to mileage of your choice or zero. Cluster will look and function like new. $300.00 plus shipping.

A non restored with tested and functioning gauges, new bulbs and bezel as described above. Speedometer gets same treatment as above. Will not be in any certain cosmetic condition other than a new bezel. The lens will get polished but will still have some flaws. I can build one like this for $175.00 plus shipping.

I don't have anything ready to ship. I would have to build one up for you. I have plenty of work going on but can work something out with you if interested.

Take care,
Tom

Re: Reconditioned gauge Clusters F/S

Tom, I've got a 69 with an I6 and a choke, would I just use a 67-68 bezel? Or is there a more gooder betterer way? Currently I've just got a hole in the dash on the lights side with the choke lever. Also, looking at getting a tach since it's three on the tree, what would something like that run?

No worries, it is pretty well established.

Can you send a link to your partners thread?

I may be interested in some of what you have.

Thank you,
Tom

So your 69 currently has wipers on the passenger side of the bezel with lights on the drivers side?

You an move the wipers to the drivers side with a 67/68 style bezel and use the choke on the pass side. Or you can leave it as a 69-72 bezel and put the choke where you would like it.

First thing I need to do is find a 6 cyl tach for you. The rest of the cluster is identical to a 8 cyl tach cluster. Just the tach itself is different.

I normally sell complete restored v8 tach clusters for $575.00 plus shipping. It will probably be around $100.00 more with a good working 6 cyl tach.

Let me know if you are interested and we can move forward on finding the tach.

I do have some sources I can check for one if needed.

Thank you and have a good weekend,
Tom

Would that price be with me sending you my current cluster or you proving everything? Or is you restoring my actual cluster an option?

Thanks again,
Nathan
