Real life pictures of '75-'76 colors.

I'm trying to match as many of these 11975-1976 colors as I can to a 'real world' picture.

Lets see them!

Thanks!

This is frost white and Hawaiian blue I recently had painted, my dad's toolbox is also painted frost white. The Hawaiian blue is such a fascinating color, inside it looks as dark as that sample you have here and outside its like a light blue.

Here's a couple pictures of my 75 Cheyenne with original paint, paint code 73 crimson red, paint code 12 frost white. It's a lot more orange than red.

Re: Real life pictures of '75-'76 colors.

Small point, but note that you posted a "commercial colors" paint chip page for the years you mentioned - and not all of those colors were available on CK10-30. See below from the 76 data book for ref. The top two sections were available on CK10-30 but also note that some colors were only available for C50-90 for these two years in question, like 88 Orange for example. One could still order 88 orange, but it was indeed a special order and would be annotated on the SPID as "Special Paint" RPO 001. My former weird child shown below, for example. Was indeed 88 orange, but that wasn't a normal production option for CK10-30, only C50-90. I kinda liked it!

Re: Real life pictures of '75-'76 colors.

you guys are great!

I ordered an old PPG sheet to reference in person. I'll get some pictures of my dually shortly.

I think it's Dark Gold Poly. We'll see.
