K10 clearance

Can anyone tell me what a 85 k10 transfer case clearance would be?
I have to take it out its dripping oil out of the whole thing. I got a new jack/transmission jack combo and it goes up about 17 1/2 inches. The truck I have now has 255 85 r16 tires and 1 1/2 inch front level and extra spring or two I think in back and maybe front.

Why can't you measure yours r just try it? If it won't reach, take the tires off and put on jack stands/blocks at a lower height.

I was just wondering. The truck is actually hour and a half away at my wife's grandparents house and we won't be there until Tuesday.

My guess is ~20" plus a rolly thing to move it. That looks like an NP203, which is basically the biggest boat anchor around and unless you build a cradle for it will flop over and crush anything it falls on when you slide it back.
An NP205 is smaller and has a small round 3 bolt cover between the output and the big cover in the pic.
How far up your jack goes has nothing to do with anything. Use shims.

I read a page saying that the 203 wasn't very good is that true? Right now I have the 350/th350 combo. What else could be put in?

my biggest issue with that stupid thing is the size of it. its so awkward and weighs just shy of 200lbs. i used to do mine with two regular floor jacks with someone pumping them up in unison but even then if you even breathed on the case the wrong way it was coming down. after like the 3rd time lowering it i swapped the trans to something that could run a np208

even lowering it was just as sketchy, i used to just wad up a bunch of old carpet, pull it away from the transmission and just kick it so it fell.
