Turn signal problem.

I recently purchased a 72 blazer. The driver rear turn signal doesn't work, but the passenger side does. I've replaced the bulb and still no luck. Also, not getting either brake light to work. The front driver signal flashes slowly, and the front passenger signal and rear passenger signal work great. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Turn signal problem.

Check and see if there's voltage getting to the bulb. If there is then it's going to be a grounding problem the bulb grounds thru the bucket mounting to the body. Make sure all those points are clean with no corrosion. If there's no voltage getting to the bulb, the wiring harness runs along the drivers side frame. Check for any breaks or nicks in the harness.

Re: Turn signal problem.

That's good, but I would first check for voltage right out of the switch at the column connector. Yellow wire for the left rear. Ign on, making a left, see if it lights up
