chrome mirror covers

My 2000 GMC came with the chrome mirror backs on standard door mirrors and my 06 did not. Can I buy just the covers?

Re: chrome mirror covers

I just bought a pair for my 05 Sierra .Got them on ebay from a vendor who had them to my house in 2days.The one I bought were pricey, but what an improvement! The brand is Putco, I used their stuff before and always held up well. If interested, I'll check to see what vendor I used,

Re: chrome mirror covers

I ended up with GM chrome covers for my 05 Silverado because I was concerned how well aftermarket ones would fit. They replace the black covers already on your mirrors instead of covering them up. Part number is 17800659 for a pair. Most places online want $60 - $70 for them.

Re: chrome mirror covers

I would like some body colored ones to replace the chrome. Can they be painted or bought already painted?
