72 front clip

Heading to the portland swap meet this Thursday and have decided to take a front clip off of a 72 motorhome i parted out. I dont really want to sale it piece by piece but if that what it comes down to i might. The darn thing is in outstanding condition with only surface rust and not rot anywhere. The egg shell grill has one cross section that is broke off but the outer grill has no dents or dings just oxidation. The headlight buckets are in good shape also. The hood and cowl have no dents or dings. The core support is good also with only surface rust. I have the front bumper with turn signals that is in good shape also. I'm having a tuff time coming up with a package price to ask for it. So any help would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to give it away but i want to be fair also.

Re: 72 front clip

I wouldnt sell it for less that $550.
Looking at the sale board here is a quick list of what things roughly cost. If you feel like sitting on it for a while it always makes more money seperately.
1. Hood... at least $100
2. D/S Fender (rust free)... at least $100
3. P/S Fender...(rust free)... at least $150 VERY HARD TO FIND
4. Outer Grill...Good Condition)... $125-150
5. Inner Grill... $50-75 due to damage
6. Rust free Core Support...$125-150
7. Fender Braces...$10-15
8. Front Light Harness...$35-50
9. Bumper...$75
10. Parking lights... $25
11. Bumper Brackets...$35
None of this addresses the fact that its all matching, installed, intact and paint is in good condition.
Im not the authority on sales by any means but if someone bought the entire front end its cost you no time or effert to disassemble it.
Hope I helped you...
Mike

Re: 72 front clip

i agree with cash on all the above, except i think you could get a bit more for the grille if it is as nice as it looks.
