SeaMist Green Paint

Hey guys, I'm planning on repainting my truck in the spring. I'm trying to figure out which colors I want to go with, I would like to do two tone. Anyway my truck my was repainted a different color scheme many years ago by the previous owner. I can see the original paint is some places like under the hood cowl were the newer paint has cracked and chipped off. Also under the dash pad is still original paint. As far as I can tell it is SeaMist Green. I can't find much info on the color or the possible color combinations with it. I'm assuming it would be white.

Does anyone have any info on it or possibly some pictures of some trucks. I'm trying to decide if I should go back to factory colors when I do my repaint.

The truck is a 1978 GMC K25. Thanks

The paint color isn't quite the same. The SeaMist is more of like a tealy green metallic. I know it kinda sounds terrible lol but it's actually not bad. It's kind of hard to explain. I will try to take a picture of it where I can see it. The whole dash under the pad is still the original paint so I will try to get a pic of that too.

But the interior green looks very similar, if not the same, seat, door panels ect.

No that's not it. Although it does look really good.

I'm not sure how to post pictures on here so I'll just post the links to the 2 trucks I found that are SeaMist.

It's the lighter color green on this truck

And there's this truck also

Re: SeaMist Green Paint

Thanks guy. It doesn't look too bad with the darker green as the secondary color. I'm curious as to what it would look like with frost white. Going to be doing some more searching.

Re: SeaMist Green Paint

Heres one I saw yesterday, two tone metallic green. Looked extremely good, the color suited it well, all I got is some dash cam caps of it though.

Alex.

Re: SeaMist Green Paint

Not sure if this color came on the squares but, I had a tailgate (CL purchase) on my 67 that was a beautiful sea foam green. I dug up the paint code too if you want it.
