Looking for these type of Rims for my 70 C10

Does anyone know what kind of rims these are? I have been searching endlessly online for them but can't find them. Do anyone know what these rims are called? I'm looking to put them on my C10. Thanks!

Rally Wheels. 1973 thru 1987. Five and six lugs were optional on gm pickups and vans. There are aftermarket companies that have them as well. You should be able to find them @ your local auto dismantlers.

Ok thanks! Is there a particular name besides them just being called rally wheels?

They are called Ralleys, shown with trim rings and center caps in your pic. Fairly common, for sale on the parts board most of the time. Factory 73' and up I think. A very economic way to dress up our trucks, just looks right.

Plentiful at the junkyards, on Monday madness wheel sales they run $10-$15 each. Cheap on Craigslist as well, I've seen them for $100 a set or less.

Re: Looking for these type of Rims for my 70 C10

The truck rallys came in 5 and 6 lug versions and 8" & 7" wide. The van rally looks the same but in narrower at 6 1/2" wide i believe.
Here is a link from the Summit Racing site.

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wvi-42-580504

They have certainly gone up in price in the last few years. The best buy is a used set. Have them blasted and painted or powder coated.

I have a set of 8" wide 5 lugs as well I would sell with Nos center caps and nice trim rings for $450.00 but shipping might be costly

Re: Looking for these type of Rims for my 70 C10

The picture you show of the blue and white truck are 8" truck rallyes, same as shown on Jeff's Bowties' truck above. These are GM factory wheels from later years and called "truck rallyes", because "rallyes" are what came on cars first. And now those are made in the aftermarket for trucks, both 5 and 6 lug.

Is your '70 still drum brake/6-lug, adapted to disc brake/6-lug, or disc brake/5-lug?

Re: Looking for these type of Rims for my 70 C10

You have been given great advice on acquiring a set of rallies. In my area there are lots of 15 6 1/2 rallys and 15 x 8 inch but the 15 x 7's are scarce. What size tires are you using or plan to use with the rallies as that will determine what width you should use. The attached pic shows a 15 x 8 inch rim and the right way to measure the width as most people just measure from outside to outside the rim. The rims are not that hard to find, finding decent unpitted centre caps and trim rings will be the challenge. With that being said the caps and rings come up fairly often in the Parts For Sale Section on this site.

Re: Looking for these type of Rims for my 70 C10

Hi everyone,

The truck I have, someone converted the front wheels to 5 lug and left the 6 lug in the back. Does anyone know what center cap I would need for the front? Thanks!

The cap that I am looking for is provided below. I need 2 of them in 5 lug for a 70 C10.

Thanks again everyone for the previous posts!

They should not be hard to find close to home so you do not have to pay shipping. My suggestion is to pay 25.00 for a years subscription to this site and put a Wanted to Buy ( WTB ) ad on the parts board.
